Just finished Metal Slinger by Rachel Schneider and I’m already counting down the days until book two!

This first book completely pulled me into its world with high stakes, tension, and characters that kept me turning pages late into the night. If you love fantasy with danger, mystery, and addictive pacing, this is definitely one to add to your reading list.

And the wait for more won’t be too long because Light Wielder releases June 9, 2026. I already know I’ll be diving back into this world the second it comes out.

The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig completely swept me away with its dark, gothic atmosphere and beautifully haunting storytelling. This is the kind of fantasy that feels immersive from the very first page—full of mystery, tension, and characters that stay in your head long after you finish reading.

Now I’m already eagerly waiting for book two, The Knave and the Moon, releasing September 1, 2026. If the next book is anything like the first, I already know I’ll be clearing my schedule for another late-night reading binge.

I absolutely flew through Dire Bound by Sable Sorensen and immediately had to pick up book two, Fury Bound.

This series has everything I love in fantasy—immersive world-building, tension, danger, and characters that keep pulling you deeper into the story with every chapter. Dire Bound completely hooked me, and now that I’m currently reading Fury Bound, I’m even more invested in this world and where the series is heading.

If you love fantasy series with high stakes, emotional twists, and addictive pacing, this is definitely one to add to your to be read list and book three Ruin Bound comes out July 27, 2027.
