My Review of the Off-Campus Series
The Off-Campus series is one of those romance series that is incredibly easy to get hooked on.
What I loved most is that the books are fun and addictive without feeling completely lightweight.
There’s plenty of chemistry, flirting, hockey, banter, parties, and college drama, but each couple also gets a genuine emotional story. The characters have insecurities, family problems, difficult pasts, and big decisions to make about what comes after college.
That balance is what kept the series from feeling repetitive to me.
Every book has a new romance, but returning to the same group of friends makes the entire series feel familiar and cozy.
By the time you reach The Legacy, it feels less like checking in with fictional characters and more like catching up with a group you’ve been spending time with for several books.
What I Loved Most About the Off-Campus Books
The friendships might actually be my favorite part of the entire series.
Yes, these are romance books, and the relationships are obviously the focus. But Garrett, Logan, Dean, and Tucker genuinely feel like friends.
Their personalities are different enough that the group dynamic stays funny, and watching their partners gradually become part of that circle makes Briar University feel like a world you want to keep returning to.
I also love that Elle Kennedy gives each couple a noticeably different relationship.
You aren’t simply reading the same hockey romance five times with different names.
Which Off-Campus Book Is the Best?
If you’re completely new to the series, The Deal is the obvious place to start.
It introduces the Briar University world, Hannah and Garrett have great chemistry, and it gives you the foundation for everything that comes afterward.
