About

I’m a forty-something mom, a nurse by day, and a reader at every spare moment in between. When I’m not caring for patients or my kids, you’ll usually find me lost in a book—often curled up in the quiet hours of the evening, telling myself just one more chapter (and rarely meaning it).

Reading has always been my favorite escape. I read across many genres, but romance will always have my heart. I’m drawn to love stories that feel real and emotional, the kind that linger long after the last page. Along the way, I also love diving into thrillers that keep me guessing, historical fiction that feels immersive and transportive, and the occasional fantasy or mystery that completely pulls me into another world. If a book can make me feel something—hope, heartbreak, comfort, or wonder—I’m all in.

This blog is my cozy corner of the internet where I share my reading life honestly and warmly. You’ll find book reviews, monthly wrap-ups, favorite lists, and reflections on the stories that kept me company through busy days, long nights, and everything in between. I love books that feel like a pause button on real life—and I’m always chasing that next story that does exactly that.

Each year, a handful of books rise above the rest—the ones I couldn’t stop thinking about, recommending, or pressing into friends’ hands. These become my favorites, the stories that truly defined my reading year.

At the end of the day, this space is about celebrating stories, slowing down, and finding comfort in the pages of a good book—because no matter how full life gets, there’s always time for one more page.
