The Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy

The Off-Campus series by The Deal, The Mistake, The Score, The Goal, and The Legacy by Elle Kennedy is one of those romance series that’s incredibly easy to get hooked on. Set around a group of college hockey players, these books blend humor, romance, friendship, and emotional depth in a way that makes you want to keep reading “just one more chapter.” Each book follows a different couple, but the friendships between the characters tie the entire series together beautifully, making it feel cozy and familiar every time you return to Briar University.
What I loved most about this series is how addictive and fun the books are while still giving each character genuine emotional growth. The romances are full of chemistry and banter, but there’s also vulnerability beneath the surface that keeps the stories feeling grounded. Elle Kennedy does a wonderful job balancing lighter moments with more meaningful themes, making the books feel both entertaining and heartfelt at the same time.
One of the best parts of the Off-Campus series is watching the friendships evolve across the books. Even though each novel focuses on a new couple, the returning characters make the series feel connected in such a satisfying way. I definitely recommend reading the books in order—starting with The Deal and ending with The Legacy—to fully appreciate the character development, inside jokes, and emotional connections between the entire group.
Overall, the Off-Campus series is the perfect comfort read for romance lovers who enjoy college settings, strong friendships, swoony relationships, and plenty of humor mixed with emotion. These books are bingeable in the best possible way, and once you start, it’s hard not to want to read the entire series back-to-back.
